Course culture · Mountain Step Ranch GC
One ranch. Four identities. A hat for every way to play.
Mountain Step Ranch GC is one private course, but every part of it has its own personality. The new course hat collection puts those identities front and center: Cherokee River Loop, Mountain Step Ranch GC, The Old Course, and Gatorhead Links.

The collection shares a navy look, gold accents, and a white rope detail. Each front emblem tells a different part of the Mountain Step story—the same identities players now see when they choose a layout on the live scorecard or check the course records.
Cherokee River Loop: The 14-Hole Journey
The river-and-crossed-clubs emblem represents the 14-hole Cherokee River Loop: the full nine followed by the front five. It is the choice for a round that keeps going, connecting the different sides of the ranch into one longer journey.
Mountain Step Ranch GC: The Whole Course
The mountain-and-flag mark represents the course as a whole. Whether the round is nine holes or a full eighteen, this is the identity that brings every side together. The Mountain Step Ranch GC hat is the all-course badge.
The Old Course: The Front-Side Identity
Front 5 and The Big 10 carry The Old Course name. Five holes—or two trips around them—give this side a distinct rhythm, with short-game decisions and repeat opportunities to get a shot right. Its mountain emblem celebrates that front-side personality.
Gatorhead Links: Short Yardage, Serious Bite
The alligator has a reason to look confident. Back 4 and Back 8 are Gatorhead Links, the course’s demanding back-side layouts. Trees, forced layups, tight fairways, and small greens make the number on the scorecard only part of the story. The Gatorhead hat belongs to the side that reminds you short does not mean easy.
Wear Your Side of the Ranch
These are not four separate courses. They are four expressions of one Mountain Step Ranch GC experience. The hats make those identities something you can wear: the whole course, the front-side loop, the back-side challenge, or the longer Cherokee journey.
Four hats. One course. Every side has a story.
