Mountain Step Ranch Golf Club
The Links at Mountain Step Ranch’s Private Nine-Hole Experience
Tucked gently into the embrace of rolling hills and whispering winds, the private golf course at Mountain Step Ranch is a testament to the synergy of man, sport, and nature. Far from the heavily manicured, artificial layouts of traditional country clubs, this 9-hole countryside loop is designed to tread lightly upon the earth. The course seamlessly weaves through the native land. Drawing inspiration from St Andrews and Pinehurst, it offers golfers a sanctuary where the lullaby of rustling grass and the symphony of chirping birds provide the perfect backdrop for every swing.
Built with the same commitment to sustainability that drives our Farm Station Projects, the greens are nourished purely and organically, without harsh chemical interventions. Whether you are unwinding after a corporate retreat at Swiss Grove or enjoying a quiet morning before exploring the ranch, the course offers a pure, unhurried round. Here, every sunrise tee-time brings the promise of a new beginning, allowing players to experience the intricate dance of the game while standing on soil that has been carefully and thoughtfully preserved.
Hole by Hole Flyover
Hole 1
78 Yards
A gentle opener to ease you into the round. Keep it straight and dial in your short game early.
Hole 2
36 Yards
A tiny pitch. Precision is absolutely everything here. Don’t let the short distance fool you.
Hole 3
53 Yards
A great test of wedge distance control. Play it safe to the center of the green.
Hole 4
45 Yards
A quick hop. An excellent opportunity for a birdie if you can get the ball to stop fast.
Hole 5
65 Yards
Demands a confident strike. This is the calm before the storm of the final stretch.
Hole 6
160 Yards
The Monster. A skinny fairway surrounded by trouble. A true test of accuracy. Meltdowns happen here.
Hole 7
98 Yards · Par 4
Short on paper, difficult by design. Trees block a direct shot to the green, forcing a controlled layup off the tee over the pond and dune into the fairway. Placement matters more than power, and the small green demands a precise approach.
Hole 8
148 Yards · Par 5
Do not let the yardage fool you. Trees block the direct route to the green, forcing a layup off the tee. From the layup area, a demanding 108-yard shot runs down a very narrow fairway to a small green. The course-assigned Par 5 reflects the extra shots this difficult route demands.
Hole 9
28 Yards
A delicate finisher. A soft touch is required to close out your round with a par and head to the clubhouse.
